Who we are

The ICM serves those who add capacity to the grid, but are in the dark about their potential.

By bringing transparency, we contribute to a stronger grid: one that rewards optimizers that perform, makes batteries easier to finance and gives system operators access to more flexibility.

We value our independence. We don't own, install or optimize, which keeps our intentions pure and our heads clear. For our clients, that means securing the true value of their battery, backed by reliable numbers.

Edo RivaiEdo RivaiSenior software developer. Owns platform design, integrations and infrastructure. Built and scaled software, most recently at SpotAI (network of intelligent security cameras). Jesse WillisJesse WillisProject Engineer. Translates your dispatch constraints into custom insights that drive decisions. Studied Industrial Design Engineering in Delft and started Everlab to build meaningful products from scratch.

Sell our solutions to BESS owners and the installers who work with them. You own the pipeline, from first call to signed contract and beyond.

What you will do

  • Be the connector: build and nurture lasting relationships across the BESS ecosystem
  • Build relationships with installers and developers who bring us BESS owners (3–30 MW)
  • Run discovery calls and present Configurator, Backtest and Broker results
  • Guide clients from first call through onboarding, and keep them with us
  • Turn successfully served clients into case examples

Who you are

  • 3–6 years in B2B consultative sales (SaaS, energy or finance)
  • Explains technical topics clearly
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Knows BRP and aFRR, or learns fast
BESS AnalystAmsterdam

Accelerate the revenue models, the BESS Backtest and the data pipelines behind every ICM result, and discuss the outcomes with clients.

What you will do

  • Improve and extend the revenue models for imbalance, FCR, aFRR and day-ahead
  • Speed up the BESS Backtest back-end and automate battery and market data
  • Follow market design and regulation (TenneT, ACM, grid congestion) and translate it into our methodology
  • Talk with clients about their results and what they mean for them

Who you are

  • MSc in econometrics, physics, energy or similar, with Python and SQL
  • 2–5 years at a trader, optimizer or consultancy
  • Knows the Dutch and European power markets
  • Explains clearly to people who are not analysts
